PC SHOW 2009 ATTRACTED OVER 1.16 MILLION OF VISITORS AND YIELDED $52.1 MILLION IN SALES

Optimistic exhibitors and unfazed consumers made The PC Show 2009 a success story, despite economic concerns

Singapore , 16 June 2009 – The PC Show 2009, Singapore’s longest running IT and consumer electronics show, ended on a high note last Sunday. Attracting over 1.16 million visitors, the show has generated around $52.1 million in sales. Spanning across four levels at Suntec Singapore, with over 600 exhibitors, the 19th edition of The PC Show ended at 9pm on Sunday, 14 June.

Ms Gillian Loh, project manager, Lines Exposition and Management Services said, “The PC Show 2009 received overwhelming support and patronage from the consumers. This is especially fantastic in a year such as this, when there is a general slow down in the economy. With $52.1 million of sales generated, we can see that consumer spending on electronics and technology still remains unfazed.

“On top of thanking all the visitors who came by The PC Show 2009, we are grateful for the strong support from over 600 international and local exhibitors. They have generously brought back attractive prices and promotions for the benefit of the consumers. We have also started making plans for next year and look forward to staging another successful PC Show in 2010!”
