Spend $50 to win $10,000 cash prize in a lucky draw

Singapore , 29 May 2009 – The PC Show 2009, Singapore’s longest-running IT and consumer electronics show, will offer the latest IT products as well as the hottest deals when it returns to Suntec Singapore from 11 to 14 June. This year’s show boasts over 600 exhibitors and spans four levels at Suntec Singapore. Moreover, for every $50 spent, visitors can enter a “Lucky Purchaser’s Draw” to win $10,000 and other prizes including LCD television, camcorder and MP3 player.

Ms Gillian Loh, project manager of show organiser, Lines Exposition and Management Services, said, “In the course of the last 18 years, The PC Show has developed a reputation as the consumer technology event of the year. And, support from exhibitors and consumers alike has just grown and grown.

“What’s particularly exciting this year is the strong emergence and participation of local exhibitors. It is encouraging to see how much creativity and innovation is out there.”

Local exhibitors are in the spotlight at The PC Show 2009

Local IT firms and distributors, such as Achieva, Foresight Marketing and McCoy are keeping up with the bigger brands by introducing gadgets such as Ovation (the slimmest and smallest external harddisk in the market), iNo Mobile (the first-ever locally-manufactured mobile phone for the young and elderly) and Biocera Laundry Ball (an environmentally-friendly and chemical-free product for laundry utilities) respectively.

International brands, such as Apple, Canon, Epson, Lenovo and Toshiba, will also showcase their latest gadgets and irresistible bundle promotions.

Lucky Purchaser’s Draw

For every $50 spent at the show, consumers stand a chance to win a grand cash prize of $10,000 in the “Lucky Purchaser’s Draw”. Other attractive prizes include LCD television, camcorder and MP3 player. Winners will be picked when the show closes on Sunday, 14 June.

We are back for more, say exhibitors

Following the tremendous success of last year’s PC Show, most of the exhibitors have signed up again this year.

Andy Koh , group marketing manager, EpiCentre, Apple Premium Reseller, said, “In the past six years that we have participated, our business has grown together with The PC Show, from the days it was held at Singapore Expo to Suntec Singapore. The event gives us exposure and lets us engage with our customers in terms of educating and showcasing new products. We are an avid supporter of The PC Show. This year, we have even taken up a bigger space on Level 3!”

Lewis Goh, commercial director Asia Pacific, AC Ryan, a leading producer of quality cabling and accessories, said, “2009 will be our second time participating in The PC Show. We believe that this is a good opportunity for us to showcase our products and market our brand. This year, we aim to meet our target sales figure and in the years ahead, we want to be involved in every PC Show if possible.”
